Lynn Harte is a respected leader in Ireland’s agri-food and dairy innovation ecosystem, with a distinguished track record spanning over two decades in delivering high-impact projects that support industry transformation, sustainability, and regional development.
Currently contracted as Smart Regions Programme Manager at the BIA Innovator Campus, Lynn has led the successful implementation of multiple nationally significant initiatives across food and dairy. Her work includes developing large-scale food innovation infrastructure, designing and delivering compliance and quality frameworks , implementing lean process optimisation strategy, coordinating industry-academic collaborations, and curating knowledge transfer events that bring together producers, researchers, and policymakers.
With a strong academic foundation, Lynn holds an MSc Food Science and Business Innovation from TUD, is a graduate of Innovation & Enterprise from Trinity College Dublin and continues her professional development currently studying Circular Economy part time with MTU, and she continues to apply evidence-based approaches and straight spoken logic to advance innovation, entrepreneurship, and excellence within Ireland’s dairy and artisan food landscape.
Her appointment as Irish Ambassador to the International Cheese & Dairy Awards (ICDA) reflects her commitment to elevating Ireland’s reputation as a global leader in high-quality, sustainable food production. Through this role, she will promote Irish excellence, innovation, and heritage at one of the world’s most prestigious dairy showcases.
